Campus Trade at Orientation Week 2026

Helping incoming first year students connect and get to know MIT through trading cards. Each card is an opportunity to share and listen to the stories that make MIT special.

Campus Trade is a campus-wide trading card game designed to help new students start conversations. Conceptualized by senior Kayode Dada and built collaboratively with CCC research designer Cassie Lee, each card is an opportunity to share and listen to the kinds of stories that make the MIT campus special. This fall, Campus Trade will be played by 1100 incoming first-year students as a part of Orientation Week at MIT. The project is supported by realtalk@MIT and the MIT office of the First Year.

Catch Kayode leading the game at Orientation Week 2026, and find the realtalk@MIT team tabling in Kresge. Come say hello, grab some merch, and learn about opportunities to get involved, and how you can grow your own community-oriented ideas with support from our realtalk@MIT team.
